Join Chai SocietyThe four committees
Candidates Committee
Works out which candidates are solid on the U.S.-Israel relationship, then tells the Board who to back and for how much. That means going through polling, fundraising numbers, voting records and position papers before any check gets written.
Join this committeeOutreach Committee
Brings in new members and keeps current ones up to speed on what CityPAC is actually doing. A lot of that is recruiting younger people, since they are the ones who will still be running this thing in twenty years.
Join this committeeDevelopment Committee
The link between CityPAC and the wider pro-Israel community in Chicago. This committee keeps that community in the loop, and raises the money that lets CityPAC write checks big enough to matter to the candidates it backs.
Join this committeeProgramming Committee
Runs the events, from small get-togethers to the Scoop Jackson Pro-Israel Advocacy Event, which has been a fixture in Chicagoland for years. Past events have drawn Congressmen, US Senators and a President of the United States.
